2025 Annual Appeal

Dear Friend,

Multiple Sclerosis is believed to affect 2.3 million people worldwide. Our area has a much greater number of cases than the National average. In Berkshire Country there are 377 known cases of people living with MS. and there are 18,000 people living with MS in Massachusetts.

Several of our Board members live with MS and when diagnosed little was known about it. The resources in our area were extremely limited as were any treatments. We have come a long way over the past 26 years in drug therapies, but unfortunately there are truly little resources available in our area to help understand and deal with this diagnosis.

MS Support Foundation was established in 2006, as a 501(c) 3 non-profit.  Our mission is to provide education, support and resources for those individuals affected by multiple sclerosis, as well as families and healthcare providers who are dedicated to improving the lives of those afflicted.

The resources we provide include monthly support group meetings and 3-4 free educational programs per year all featuring guest speakers. We also offer a lending library, medical equipment assistance, computer access and a Facebook page. Our website is always updated.

Education is crucial. It is important for those living with MS to be armed with the latest information so they can strongly advocate for themselves.  It is essential for the medical community, as MS is still misdiagnosed far too often.

Since we are funded through grants that do not cover all our programs and as we grow and provide services to more people we must rely on your support through our Annual Appeal.

Today, we are asking for your help to continue our mission.

While we would love to receive a donation of $50 -$100 or more, we would be thrilled to receive a donation of any size.   Your contribution is tax deductible.

We thank you for your continued support.

With gratitude,

Gwendolyn F. Cariddi
Executive Director
